Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 amβ6:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (914) 725-3450. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, eastchesterfish.com.

Nestled within Eastchester Fish Gourmet, Go Fish, the takeout gem, is an absolute delight. Seamlessly connected to one of Westchester's finest fish markets and seafood restaurants, it ensures an unparalleled freshness of seafood offered at remarkably affordable prices. This hidden gem within the vicinity is a culinary revelation. Among its stellar offerings, Go Fish presents one of the most delightful Poke Bowls in Westchester, accompanied by a range of other delectable options. Their rendition of fish and chips is a sheer delight, consistently impressing with its quality and taste. The affordability paired with the freshness of the seafood truly makes this spot a standout choice for seafood enthusiasts seeking a flavorful experience.

How do you fall in love without falling in love? Come to this restaurant and you will understand what I mean. EVERYTHING from the hostess to the service to the drinks, appetizers and main course was very good. Absolutely LOVED the grapefruitini. That drink was so good. Scallops perfect. Swordfish was yummy. Seafood risotto excellent. I highly recommend and definitely would return.

Feel bad about giving such a poor review as the staff are friendly and pleasant. But the quality of the fish and shellfish is appalling. They say they go once a week to the Fulton market which is not good enough and should have warned us off. But by Thursday when we went, the fish is not fresh enough. The second problem though is even the clam strips we bought were completely flavorless. Presumably they were previously frozen but worse I imagine they wash them in tap water so all the flavor is washed out. I have never had such flavourless clams. Finally on top of everything else the prices are just wrong. They are too high even if the quality was top notch. Plenty of better places to get fresh wild salmon, sushi grade tuna or lemon sole for same or more likely lower prices. So itβs a shame. We had high hopes for a fish market outside the city but this place needs to really revamp itself. At least the staff are friendly.

Excellent meal! From the perfect pear martini, bountiful beet salad to amazing broiled branzino. The waitress was very attentive and the ambience was just perfect! Looking forward to going back.

Very good quality food, dishes look and taste very good ! We had a salad with tuna sashimi with avocado and greens it was delicious... and for the main dishes fish tacos and crab cake, all excellent. Then we shared the desert : soufflΓ© which is very popular in this place, we could chose chocolate, vanilla, hazzlenut, Baileys etc... We chose Baileys flavor and didnβt disappoint at all ...so yummy! Also I donβt agree with previous comment, service was correct and very friendly and not slow ... The only complain is that the restaurant is not open daily for dinner, Sunday is only open for lunch, also the closing time is quite early at 7 pm every day ... so impossible to go after work ! Could you change your opening times???? However I will find time for this restaurant. Love this place !
